It is up to you whether you feel you should stop taking Lipitor or not, however there are many safe, natural alternatives.

As long as you are on Lipitor you should be taking a Coenzyme Q10 supplement (a good idea even if not on Lipitor) as statin drugs ironically cause a Coenzyme Q10 deficiency, which is needed for heart health.

Lorna has 2 products that you could benefit from. Cala-Q Plus contains Q10 as well as Carnitine and Calamari DHA and EPA which all helps to support a healthy heart, promotes normal blood pressure, lowers bad DHL cholesterol and raises good HDL.

Magsmart would also be beneficial as low levels of magnesium have been linked to the increased frequency of heart disease and cardiovascular deaths.

For lowering cholesterol Lorna always recommends Sytrinol as well.

Of course diet and lifestyle also play a major part in cholesterol and heart health.

Here are some articles on Coenzyme Q10 and Lipitor and other statin drugs you may find interesting and informative

Hope this helps!

Creating links

There are two ways of creating links:
  • [Example]( produces a link like this: Example
  • The fully qualified address, like, will automatically be converted to a link.

Formatting Text

  • You can make your text italic by surrounding it with * characters, *like this.*
  • Bold formatting is produced by surrounding your text with two stars, **like so**.
  • You can even ***use both at the same time***.

  • You can make a bulleted list using stars, like this:

    * First Item
    * Second Item
    * Third Item

  • If you want a numbered list, just write it out like this:
    1. First Item
    2. Second Item
    3. Third Item

You can produce headers for your posts using the '#' symbol.
  • '#Main Heading Example' produces a top level heading.
  • '##Sub Heading Example' produces a sub level heading.
  • '###Small Heading Example' produces a small heading.
