Symptoms and their associated organ system
Many of the following symptoms, while commonly attributed to perimenopause
or menopause, are actually associated with adrenal dysfunction (A),
thyroid dysfunction (T), liver congestion (L) and Candida/intestinal problems
(C).
- Acceleration of the aging process – overnight wrinkles appear (T, A)
- Anxiety or panic attacks (A, C)
- Bloating and indigestion, gas (T, C)
- Increase in blood pressure or cholesterol (A, T, L)
- Bone pain (often associated with osteoporosis/osteopenia) (A)
- Inability to breathe deeply (air hunger) (A)
- “Crawly” skin sensations, especially of the lower limbs (restless leg syndrome) (A, L)
