Q: Several of my friends have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Is there anything I can do to reduce risk of contracting this terrible cancer?

A: Breast cancer is the leading cause of death in women ages 35-54. Back in 1960 one in 20 women developed breast cancer, today 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer. Eighty percent of all cancers are thought to be related to environmental factors, while diet also plays a role. To reduce your risk:
  • Eliminate xenoestrogens found in soft plastic products, plastic wrap, pesticide-laden foods (fruits, vegetables, dairy and meat), cosmetics and hair dyes to name a few
  • Eat plenty of organic vegetables, especially the cruciferous family: broccoli, cauliflower, kale and Brussels sprouts
  • Reduce alcohol and coffe
  • Walk 15 minutes a day
  • Don’t stay on the pill too long
  • Avoid synthetic estrogen like Premarin
  • Keep your weight down as fat cells manufacture estrogen and the more fat the more estrogen you have
  • Take EstroSense daily with meals
Research shows the most important thing you can do to reduce your risk is to take a combination of breast cancer preventive nutrients found in EstroSense. EstroSense contains I3C, D-glucarate, DIM, sulforaphane, curcumin, milk thistle, green tea and lycopene. I3C is the most heavily researched nutrient shown to inhibit breast cancer. I3C, as found in EstroSense, is the breast cancer prevention nutrient every woman should be taking every day. I3C has also been used along with tamoxifen (a drug for breast cancer treatment). EstroSense, 2 capsules per day at breakfast, should be part of your breast cancer prevention program.
